1. Open the project in “My Bids & Tenders” and go to the “Schedule of Prices” tab:

2. Add a price under the “Budgeted Unit Price” column beside the item you want an allowance for:

3. Click the lock toggle:

An allowance has now been created for this item and will be included in the contractor’s bid. The contractor will not be able to change the unit price on this item.
